Southern Education Desk Explores ISR

On August 5, the Southern Education Desk, a consortium of public media stations in the southeast, highlighted the Center for Science Outreach's Interdisciplinary Science and Research (ISR) programs at Stratford and Hillsboro High Schools.
In "Nashville Teachers Bring Science to Other Courses," reporter LaTonya Turner highlights the summer professional development hosted by the Center for Science Outreach in which English, history, and biology teachers at Hillsboro and Stratford High Schools are working together to correlate the work students do in their science classes with work they do in other subjects.
